Description

Reports to: General Manager

Job Scope:

  • Inventory Management
    • Develops and effectively implements warehouse and inventory monitoring systems and procedures
    • Conducts regular cycle count as per established schedules and guidelines. Evaluates inventory variance and implements preventive countermeasures based on the result of the inventory variance analysis
    • Coordinates with Accounting department in maintaining minimum and maximum level based on demand
    • Coordinates with operations to effectively monitor the flow of goods and dispatching goods as required
  • Equipment and Tools inventory Management
    • Planning, coordinating and directing the operations of all equipment for effective maintenance and repair programs, equipment safety programs and equipment use on company job sites
  • Warehouse Management
    • Ensure the effective utilization of warehouse areas and observe proper loading, unloading, stocking and safekeeping of items to prevent damage and avoid occurrence of pilferage accidents and occupational hazards.
    • Waste management within parameters of legislation and environmental compliance approvals
    • Perform monthly site inspections (including fire extinguishers and first aid station); report and action if necessary
  • Fleet Management
    • Fueling of vehicles
    • Working closely with mechanic, maintain vehicle maintenance schedule based on generated work orders and preventative maintenance requirements
    • Perform monthly inspections of fire extinguishers and first aid stations in vehicles; report and action if necessary
    • Clean and organize daily
  • General Labour
    • Support Divisional Supervisors with misc. labour duties at client sites as needed
    • Other assigned duties as directed

Skills Required

  • Must have own tools, valid driver's license, reliable transportation.
  • Must be confident is use of Microsoft Office and database systems

Training Required:

  • WHMIS Certificate;
  • Worker Health and Safety Training;
  • Asbestos Awareness;
  • Working at Heights.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years in the construction industry;
  • High School Diploma;
  • Valid class “G” Driver’s License.

Other:

  • Clean CPIC with vulnerable sector clearance;
  • Clean Drivers Abstract.
