Job Description: Reporting to the Divisional Manager, you will be responsible for:

Restoration Duties:

Including, but not limited to the following:

  • Using various remediation techniques for structural drying, water remediation, become proficient in water restoration, mold remediation and fire damage clean-up;
  • Complete water extraction using drying equipment and applicable equipment;
  • Removal of water damaged/fire damaged materials
  • Respond to water jobs and initiate water mitigation according to IICRC standards and ECSI internal processes;
  • Using cleaning and restoration techniques, clean structural items such as doors, trim, windows, walls and ceilings;
  • Cleaning of contents of a home;
  • Set up/take down equipment as needed;
  • Complete minor demolition;
  • Other duties as required by your Supervisor.

Construction Duties:

Including, but not limited to the following:

  • General construction duties (carpentry, flooring, framing, painting, etc.);
  • Site prep and clean up;
  • Operate small hand tools, and motorized tools;
  • Other duties as required by your Supervisor.

General Duties:

Including, but not limited to the following:

  • Driving company vehicle;
  • Completing weekly timecard;
  • Completing daily documentation per ECSI policies and procedures;
  • Other duties as required by your Supervisor.

Skills Required

Training/Certificates Required:

  • WHMIS Certificate;
  • Working at Heights Certificate;
  • Worker Health and Safety Certificate.

Pre-Qualification Criteria:

  • Valid class “G” Driver’s License with clean abstract;
  • CPIC – Clean with Vulnerable Sector Clearance;
  • Basic Literacy skills – written and oral.


  • Water Restoration Technician Certified;
  • High School Diploma preferred;
  • 1-3 years experience in restoration/emergency industry;
  • Willing and able to follow precise instructions in a careful, methodical and accurate way;
  • Willing and able to follow process and procedures;
  • Willing and able to work in and support a team environment;
  • Commitment to safe working practices.
